THE BIRTH
OF MITSUYA
Chef Mitsu’s story starts in Chiba, Japan, where he began training at a kaiseki restaurant at just 16. Driven by curiosity and dedication, he traveled the world—refining his craft in Tokyo, Vietnam, Germany, Italy, and Singapore.
When he arrived in Beirut, Japanese dining was still an emerging concept. Mitsu-ya was born out of this unique intersection, introducing authentic Izakaya and Omakase to Lebanon, and offering a dining experience where heritage, innovation, and sensory delight meet.
